first birthday trauma

At least with my 2 kids the first happy birthday singing cake presentation has elicited tears instead of smiles.  The pasta on the other hand made up for the trauma

    I feel bad - we did kind of trash my in-laws house. who knew a one-year old's birthday party could get so out of control!
